For more than 45 years, the continued eye health of my patients has been my absolute passion. I have seen a remarkable evolution in technology and have made it my mission to ensure TK&S is at the forefront of modern practice, constantly pushing boundaries and pioneering new ways of doing things to make a real difference to patients’ everyday lives.
I have been fortunate enough to serve as President of the British Contact Lens Association and presented around the world. Closer to home, I have taken particular pleasure in seeing our family here at TK&S grow into the multiple award-winning team we are today – with Andrew Oliver named Dispending Optician of the Year and Dr Keyur Patel the current Optometrist of the Year and Dry Eye Practitioner of the Year.
With such an impressive team, our patients are in the very best hands – no matter who they are seeing.
With that in mind, you may have noticed a slight shift in my working pattern as I move away from everyday practice life to spend a little more time with my family – particularly my wonderful grandchildren.
I am still very much part of the furniture here at TK&S (although at my age I’m more of a comfy armchair than a sleek dining table…) and am running clinics three days every week. It simply means that there may be slightly longer than normal waiting times for an appointment with myself – but appointments with the brilliant Keyur and Debra are available for anyone in need of a priority examination, and they come highly recommended!
I look forward to seeing you at the practice very soon, where myself and the rest of the team can continue to ensure your eye health is given the attention it deserves.
